Principles of the distance seminar: |
1. Duration of the course — 5 weeks.
2. The seminar consists of 5 blocks, each represents one day of a regular seminar.
3. Within each block participant receives presentations, workbooks, test tasks. Test tasks have to be taken by a participant at the end of each block, and results are sent to the instructor. Test tasks are based on the certification exam tasks.
4. If there is a regular seminar during the same period of time as the distance course, a participant is welcome to visit one or several days of the seminar.
5. Recommended form of the final test after completing the course — AI PAS certification, level «B». |
|
Model plan of the block: |
1. The beginning: participant receives workbooks set, including theoretical part (in Adobe Acrobat); presentation, which explains the order of studying (in Adobe Acrobat); test tasks (10–15, depending on the block, in MS Excel format).
2. Independent study: 3–5 days to study the material and pass the test.
3. est results and mistakes analysis: after mailing the test, participant in turn receives correct answers and comments on them. Instructor analyzes participant’s mistakes and answers questions.
4. Background communication: within the course and some time after participant has an access to a special restricted course forum section, where his questions can also be seen by other instructors (in the Alt-Invest Company it’s 4 senior consultants), as well as by other participants of the course. |
|
Literature the seminar is based on: |
|
Special methodical material is used during training; it is adapted to the plan of the seminar. However, as additional literature we recommend following books: |
1. Koltsova I.V., Riabykh D.A., «The practice of financial diagnosis and projects evaluation», Moscow: Williams Publishing House, 2007.
2. Behrens W., Havranek P.M., «Guidelines for industrial feasibility studies preparation», Vienna: UNIDO, 1995. |
Considering duration of the Distance seminar, it is easy to match it with convenient certification exam date.
Registration for the certification exam can be simultaneous with the application for the distance course.
If the distance course dates are inconvenient, it is always possible to register for regular 5-day preparation course, which introduces each certification. |
